How to remove forgotten lock screen on OPPO A37f?

To remove the forgotten lock screen on Android phone is very easy to do, just wipe the data / factory reset in Recovery mode then the problem is resolved. But somehow on the latest OPPO phones using ColorOS 3.0, Wipe data / factory reset is not available, only Wipe data (Keep SMS, Contact and Photos).

If the menu is selected then a confirmation page will appear that says Wipe data (except SMS, Contact, Photos and Lock Screen) which means that wipe data will not delete SMS, contacts, photos and including screen lock.

However, this does not mean that the problem can not be solved. There are other ways that we can use to overcome one of them is by way of flash or re-install.

Compared to Wipe data / factory reset, this way is very risky and can be fatal if you do not carefully do it.

So, How to remove forgotten lock screen on A37f OPPO?

• Download Qualcomm USB Driver and Flash file OPPO A37
• Make sure the phone's battery power is at least 50%.
• Backup contacts and and other important files that exist on the internal storage to external storage.
• Extract USB Drivers and Flash files on your computer or laptop.
• Install Qualcomm USB Driver on your computer or laptop.
• Extract the Flash file, then run Msm8x39DownloadTool
• Press and hold volume up (+) and volume down (-), while pressing the buttons connect the phone to the computer using the data cable.
• Go to Device Manager and make sure the phone is connected as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.
• Go back to the Msm8x39Download Tool application and click the Start button.
• Wait until the flashing process is complete.

Note:

• Do not touch the data cable during the flashing process. Failed flashing process in the middle of the road can cause damage to the phone
• This process will erase all data on internal storage.
• Any damage arising from the application of this tutorial will be your sole responsibility.
